Training Services
Due to an auto accident in 2006, Sonya can no longer accept horses for under saddle training. However, we do offer in-hand and ground manners training for all ages, as well as trailer loading training. We offer very reasonable prices and guaranteed results. Specializing in horses with fear issues.

Trailer Loading - We have several options for this service, the most popular being a 3 day "visit" to the farm for your horse. Owner supplies horse's regular diet of hay/grain and the trailer stays here with us. The cost of this service is $120 and we guarantee a relaxed, happy horse loading onto the trailer, both being led and self-loading. Included in this package is a lesson for you so that you can learn the techniques used. This will enable you to continue to have happy, successful loading experiences after you've gotten home. For those horses with more extensive trailering issues, we can offer longer stays with a flat daily rate of $15 for each day over the initial 3 day visit. As yet, we've had no horses needing to stay any additional days.
In hand and ground manners training ~ This is where it all starts. Whether you have a youngster that you want to have a great training base or you have an older horse that perhaps has a few ground manners "issues", i.e. pushy, nippy, head shy, stubborn, etc., we can help. Training rates start at $35 a day (this is a per day rate for stays less than 1 week). Discounted rates are available for those horses staying longer than a week. Each horse's stay includes training sessions with owners so that the techniques that we use can stay consistent once you've gotten home.
