Gryphon's Keep Farm
Gryphon's Keep Farm is a small family farm located in the heart of central Virginia. The farm is home to Jeff and Sonya Weaver and their two children, as well as an assortment of furry family members. Jeff grew up riding Western through the countryside of eastern Ohio and has since been "converted" into an English saddle once he learned the joy of jumping. Sonya is a Virginia native who's background includes teaching, training and competing through the upper levels of dressage and eventing. Other disciplines included foxhunting, the A circuit hunter/jumpers, AQHA and APHA.
The goal of Gryphon's Keep Farm is to produce quality APHA and warmblood foals that will excel as dressage, sporthorse, event, pony club and "best friend for life" mounts. We aim to produce horses that have outstanding temperaments, as well as solid conformations, natural athletic ability, balance, presence and tractibility. Foals born at our farm get the solid foundation training that is so important in the early days, months and years of their lives, making their training further down the road that much easier.
